Greensboro, NC - November 15, 2008
The North Carolina Lung Cancer Partnership, the National Lung Cancer Partnership's first chapter, organized the Free to Breathe® 5K event in Greensboro, NC to raise awareness and research funding for lung cancer. They also organized the the second annual Free to Breathe® 5K in Raleigh, NC.
The Free to Breathe® Greensboro 5K took place on November 15, 2008. Over 800 people participated and the North Carolina chapter raised well over $70,000 for research. Greensboro race results are available here.
