Kansas City, MO - September 28, 2008

The first Free to Breathe® 5K run/walk and 1/2 mile walk in Kansas City, MO in memory of Julia Miles was held on September 28, 2008. The event helped to raise awareness and funding for National Lung Cancer Partnership's lung cancer research, education and awareness programs. Family and friends of Julia Miles, a young woman who passed away from lung cancer, organized this event to honor her memory and assist in the fight against lung cancer.
