Create a Fundraising Page
Join the nationwide movement of people who are passionate about raising public awareness and critical funding for lung cancer. Together, we WILL create change for lung cancer. But we can't do it without you!
Follow these steps to create your personal online fundraising page:
- Select a Free to Breathe® event location
• Click on the map from our homepage
- Register for your event
• Click the "Register" tab or button
• Choose to register as an individual, join a team or create a team
• Choose to either actually participate in the event or be involved as an “online fundraiser only”
• Complete the registration form
- Find your personal fundraising page
• Your personal fundraising page is automatically created when you register if you provided a valid e-mail address
• Access it through your personal Participant Center
• Find this link on the online registration confirmation page or in the “Thank you for Registering” email sent to you following your registration
- Customize your personal fundraising page
• Once you're in your personal center, click on the"Personal Page" tab to edit your page
• Customize your page with your own text and photos
- Spread the word
• Send emails to your friends and family to ask for their support and recruit teammates
• Check out our fundraising tips
• Track your progress right from your Participant Center
As you work toward your fundraising goal, remember that donations can be received through your personal fundraising page even after the event, for at least 30 days. And, an incentive is available for those who raise $1,500 or more!
