Free to Breathe® depends on the kindness and dedication of volunteers to make the event a success. A variety of volunteer opportunities exist, and each person makes a difference!

Public relations:
Create visibility for the event by accessing local media outlets.

Promotional material distribution:
Distribute posters for your team throughout the community.

Distribution of other promotional materials:
Other promotional materials might include press announcements (calendar listings) to local newspapers and magazines; press releases; neighborhood flyers; etc.

Sponsorships & donations:
Approaching local businesses to obtain and secure financial and in-kind sponsorships to support your walk locally.

Team Captain:
Gather your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, and others that you know to team up against lung cancer! Become a team captain and increase the impact you can have on lung cancer patients' lives.
